REPRESENTING
ELECTRO-HOUSE FROM PARIS, FRANCE
DJ Llorca
DJ Jef K
A native of Paris, Jef K started mixing records in 1992 after spending nine months in London. His deep, groovy and sexy house sets made him quickly earn a reputation as one of the fastest rising DJs amongst the French house scene.

Jef has a Saturday residency at the legendary Rex Club since 1998 and is a resident for the “Respect” nights all over the world. He had a monthly residency at Fuse in Brussels for four years and plays regularly at Robert Johnson in Frankfurt.

He has played festivals such as Les Plages Sonores in Montpellier, Soma, Lunacy, Xanadu and Magic Garden in Paris. A huge traveler, bringing his skills to the top clubs in Hong Kong, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Tokyo, Shangai, Sydney, Melbourne, Auckland, Buenos Aires, Mexico City, Rio De Janeiro, Sao Paulo, Dubai, Bahrein, Capetown, Johannesburg, Durban, Moscow, Llubjana, Sofia, Prague, Budapest, Sarajevo, Krakow, Berlin, Frankfurt, Munich, Hamburg, London, Nottingham, Brighton, Birmingham, Ibiza, Madrid, Barcelona, La Coruna, Lisbon, Porto, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Eindhoven, Antwerp, Brussels, Miami, New York, San Francisco, Dallas, Atlanta, Chicago and many other cities around the world.
When he released his first album in 2001, Ludovic Llorca didn’t think that “Newcomer” would become a reference album for many, and sell more than 170.000 copies. But while this first record is titled “Newcomer,” Ludovic has been already making music for 15 years...

Born on 1974 in the north of france, Ludovic was immersed in the disco and funk hits by his mum, a club addict and music lover. As for his father, he belongs to the first breed of professional-computers coders : he offered his son one of the first family computers when ludovic was only 11. With a nerd as a father and a black-music lover as a mother, ludovic naturally became... a computer-music composer!

In 1991, he meets David Duriez (with whom he’ll found much later a record-label called “Brique Rouge”).In 1997, Ludovic is picked up by F-communications

Llorca has played in numerous festivals and clubs (Montreux in 98, the Transmusicales in 99, the Festival du Devenir in 97, 98 & 99). Up until now he has done hundreds of dates in Europe (Ibiza, Berlin...), Montreal and Japan (The Blue Note Club in Tokyo!). His mixes are precise and rich, the tracks are very musical and the rhythms really groovy, creating a final ambiance which is really funky and full of soul.
