Lumière d’Espoir: 2K Micro Film Shot in Beijing Power Plant

Lumière d'Espoir: This 2K micro film is inspired by Liu Lu's collection of the same name.

A girl. A door. Hope.

This 2K micro film was produced in 2010 inspired by Liu Lu’s collection of the same name. It was filmed with a RED One in an abandoned power plant on the outskirts of Beijing, China, and funded by Citroën China. We shot the entire film in one, long day with a shoestring budget while fending off the bureaucrats running the facility who wanted nothing more than to break their word and kick us out.
